International Distributors Wanted

How many people do you know that have maybe one or more of the following, a mobile phone, iPod, portable gps, digital camera etc?

How often have they ever been on their way to work, university, school, trekking or whatever when their battery died, they are in the middle of nowhere and need to make an urgent call, find their co ordinates on the gps, listen to some tunes, or see the perfect image that they just have to take, etc and can't because they have no access to power to charge them.

Well SolarBagz solves this, OK, solar power has been around for a little while now and as part of the worlds movement towards reducing global emissions and also the amount of people who want to be seen to be part of this movement even if they are not is growing rapidly on a daily basis. So I have designed at this stage 2 backpacks and 1 x shoulder bag that incorporate a 2.4 watt solar panel built into them. The panel which fits neatly into a waterproof pocket on the front of the pack is attached to a concealed lithium ion battery pack that is constantly topped up by the sun. When needed you simply plug your gadget into the battery pack via an assortment of supplied adaptors and presto you have power for that urgent call or must listen too tune.  Every time I talk with people about this as an idea for a product the response is immediate, what a great idea, where can I buy it. I have also recently spoken to a couple of large luggage retail outlets and picked up significant pending orders, very promising. Imagine if you could tap into schools, universities etc, they could be made in quantities with the universities and schools logos etc or what a great promotional idea for businesses that want to project a green image. I think the opportunities are endless, and only limited by our imagination.

Do not focus too much on the product more on the concept and the enormous green movement out there, with many people wanting to be seen to be part of it. There are several companies marketing very successfully portable solar powered devices, but all of them are just that a portable charger only, I see these existing chargers as just being another gadget to be carried with all your other electronics, our product does all this but actually holds all that stuff as well, this is our edge and the one we need to exploit.
